Water Break

I went to several western photo shots in the Sierra foothills a number of years ago and got many photos of working cowboys and girls! This was one of my favorites! I did several small studies before painting this large painting of the cowboys and cowgirl letting their trusted steeds get a little rest and some water in a small nearby lake!
